What Our Guarantee Covers
Our guarantee covers verifiable defects in materials and workmanship when the rug is used appropriately in a private home. This includes, in particular, faults in the knotting, seams or fringe attachment, as well as unusually premature wear of the pile.

Which Rugs Are Covered by Our Guarantee?
Our three-year guarantee applies to hand-knotted rugs purchased from Jakobson Carpets. Handwoven rugs such as kilims and soumaks are not included.
Small variations in shape, pattern, pile or colour are characteristic of traditional craftsmanship. They make every rug unique and, on their own, do not constitute a quality defect.
What Is Not Covered by the Guarantee
Damage caused by normal use, external influences or unsuitable treatment is not covered by our voluntary guarantee.
