Receive Your Return Label

For returns within the EU, we will send you a free return label by email. If you prefer, we can also send it by post.

Pack & Return Your Rug

Pack the rug in its original packaging or equivalent protective packaging. Attach the return label and drop it off at a parcel shop — or we can arrange collection.

Receive Your Refund

Once the return has been received, we will refund the purchase price to the original payment method. The statutory provisions concerning any possible diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods remain unaffected.

Right of Withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you, or a third party appointed by you who is not the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. If you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and they are delivered separately, the period begins on the day on which you, or a third party appointed by you who is not the carrier, acquire physical possession of the last item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of an unequivocal statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email):

You can also exercise your right of withdrawal online at https://jakobson-carpets.com/vertrag-widerrufen If you use this online function, we will immediately provide you with an acknowledgement of receipt on a durable medium (e.g. by email), including information about the content of your withdrawal declaration and the date and time it was received.

Withdraw from Contract

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of Withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse to you all payments received from you, including the costs of delivery (with the exception of any supplementary costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which we are informed about your decision to withdraw from this contract.

We will carry out such reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise; in any event, you will not incur any fees as a result of such reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is the earlier.

You shall send back the goods or hand them over to us without undue delay and in any event not later than fourteen days from the day on which you communicate your withdrawal from this contract to us. The deadline is met if you send back the goods before the period of fourteen days has expired.

We will bear the cost of returning the goods. You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Our Promise

31-Day Voluntary Return Policy

In addition to your statutory right of withdrawal, you may voluntarily return your rug up to and including the 31st day after receipt — giving you time to experience it properly in your own home.

A Total of 31 Days from Receipt

Once the statutory 14-day withdrawal period has expired, our voluntary return policy continues the return period up to and including the 31st day after receipt of the goods.

Original Packaging

Please return the goods in their original condition and in the original packaging or equivalent protective packaging.

Free Returns

Within the EU, return shipping via our returns service is free of charge. Unfortunately, we cannot accept parcels sent to us with postage due.

Purchase Price Refunded

For returns made under our voluntary return policy, we will refund the purchase price to the original payment method, provided the goods meet the stated conditions for voluntary returns.

Our voluntary return policy does not affect either your statutory right of withdrawal or your statutory rights in respect of defects. Both remain fully intact.
